Sam Bradford
In an award ceremony live from New York City, Oklahoma Sooners quarterback, Sam Bradford, was honored as being the 74th recipient of the most respected award in all of college football; the Heisman Trophy.This will pit two current Heisman Trophy recipients head to head in the game for the national title on January 8, 2009, in Miami, FL.
Bradford is the fifth Oklahoma player to be awarded this prestigious honor.

Isn't that something? It just goes to show what we've been saying all along. :)
I usually don't care about college bowl games but this one is looking like a great match up. It's possible one team could score 60 points and still loose!

Anyone who thinks Oklahoma is gonna score "60 points" on the Gators has been watching too much Big 12 football... The SEC actually has teams with competent defenses.
I saw on ESPN that something like 6 or 7 of the defenses Oklahoma faced this year were ranked 86 or WORSE!
The NC game will be an eye opener for someone... the question of for WHO is yet to be determined.
