I have never heard of or seen a Tech grad doing such a thing--and I have seen some bad games over the years (it's inevitable as a Tech fan). That's horrible.
But I still defend my comment. It's one thing for a fellow Red Raider to do that...it's another thing for someone from another school to do it. I would never make fun of or put down someone else's school like that. Not my style.
I'm sorry--I meant for that last comment to be jokey and tongue-in-cheek (hence the last line), but I can see it doesn't come across that way. It's hard to figure out tone in text.
OU beat the snot out of Tech. We played like a high school team--you played like a pro team! If you want to make fun of our school, go ahead. :)
I will stop high-jacking your blog now. :) Have a great week...
Sorry guys, I've been too sick to get on the computer since I posted this.
Mike, my comment wasn't directed towards you, of course. Up until this post, I had several loyal readers who are Raiders fans! I had actually never heard of "guns down"; I thought I was making that up to be cute. I guess someone beat me to it.
This was one of those run away games that, normally, would be boring to watch. But, for some reason, this was one of the most fun games I have ever had the joy to enjoy!
So, to all, let's remember that this is just a silly game.

It's a great day to be an Oklahoma Sooner!
Yeah, those bad calls go both ways. ;)
I take nothing away from OU, though. You were better.
"Guns down," though? That's rude!
I probably shouldn't mention this to Mike and Morgan, but my landlords went to Texas Tech. As I was driving by today they both did a guns down :)
*Shakes head at Red Raiders doing a guns down*

Ugh, I sound like an Aggie...
Rick...I must say, for all of the things for you to say, you were most gracious in your post...
